Medal Rosettes

The various orders all came with button or bow rosettes. I am not sure what the difference is, but it may have to do with the date of production. I'll have to confirm that. These button rosettes were worn in the slot on a lapel of a coat. You can see by the pictures that the different classes have different styles.
The Red Cross medals also have rosettes.
Note that the commemorative and war medals had ribbon bars in lieu of rosettes. The Merit Medals had pin bow rosettes, not the button style. I have also seen some Merit Medal ribbon bars.

Here are a few. I don't have a complete set, so if anyone can fill in the gaps, I'd really appreciate it.

You will see some button rosettes that combine the colors of two or three awards. These are authentic. It would be a bit unwieldy to have three different rosettes, so the combination rosette was made. I am not sure how the different classes are expressed, though. These combination rosettes are official, but they had to be specially ordered and the individual paid for them.

perhaps the box was given along with the medal's presentation box. I am not sure.

Rising Sun 7th and an Order of the sacred treasure 6th medal

yellow half is probably the Sacred
Treasure medal, and since there are four folds, this might be for the 3rd
Class medal (which has 8 folds on a full rosette)

blue half I am not sure about. The color matches that of the 1914-5 and
1914-20 War Medals, but I don't think these medals had their ribbons
incorporated into a button rosette. But since the multi-ribboned rosettes
were privately commissioned, perhaps it is possible.
