My Name is Jamie Oliver. I have been a ham radio operator since 1972 when I first received my "novice" license. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY.

I met, fell in love with, and married a wonderful Brazilian woman from the northeast of Brazil. That was 28 years ago and still the best thing that ever happend to me. She came from the tropics to the arctic NY climate and has adapted really well.

I work at Kodak Alaris as an Team Leader Electronic Engineer in the Document Imaging Division. We design high speed document scanning equipment for the business industry.

As far as hobbies go, I enjoy ham radio, playing with high voltage Tesla Coils (see my Tesla coil site tab), Flying, Fixed wing and Paragliding, and Powered Paragliding, and enjoy participating in and teaching Isshun Ryu Karate.
