ROCK
CAMP GEOLOGY FIELD TRIP June 2001 Tom, Deb, Ed Berry, James, Paula, Mary Sue, Karen and Sue explored central Colorado in a van for a week. They marveled at the majestic scenery and checked out geological treasures like old abandoned mines, dinosaur bones and tracks, the Leadville mining museum, and Rocky Mt. National Park. They even panned for gold but didn't find any! This trip was a sort of reward for the "old timers" who had been to every Rock Camp and had agreed to be research subjects (guinea pigs) for "Dr." Tom for his Ph.D. thesis project. One highlight was when they got to turn the tables and "interview" Tom instead. "Once Upon a Trip to Colorado" - PhotoStory3 movie |
