BABES:   Beginning Alcohol (and other drug) Basic Education Studies.

With funding from the Orange County Youth Bureau and Stop DWI program the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council is able to present the BABES curriculum to children at HeadStart programs in Orange County.   BABES is a puppet based curriculum that focuses on healthy living skills.  This curricula emphasizes those skills proven to be useful in preventing future substance abuse.
