The Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Orange County is offering a comprehensive training program for the SPRING 1999 which will help you to satisfy CASAC credentialing or re-credentialing requirements. The total educational hours necessary for the CASAC is now 350 hours. Recredentialing requires 20 clock hours per year of continuing education.
The SPRING schedule offers training that totals 172 clock hours to choose
from. New this Spring are courses entitled Human Growth and Development,
Domestic Violence & Alcoholism/Substance Abuse Treatment,
Sex Addiction, Overview of Prevention, and The Spiritual
Connection: Psychology, Recovery and God which may be applied to
either credentialing or recredentialing requirements.
FREE CONSULTATION: Any student who enrolls for at least one course is entitled to make an appointment with the Director of Education and Training for a free consultation regarding the CASAC process. The Coordinator will also review your previous education and certificates and map out a plan of action to help you get your CASAC in a timely fashion.
