I am a fan of all the Star Trek Series, from The Original Star Trek to Star Trek Voyager, and now "Enterprise", the new Star Trek series out. These are the voyages of the first crew, of the first Starship, called Enterprise. Comm

The creator of Star Trek, Gene Roddenberry, passed away on Oct. 24, 1991. But his vision lives on, in all the Star Trek series and movies.

My first star I saw in person was William Shatner on April 4, 1987. He appeared in Omaha at a "World of Wheels Expo". He didn't sign autographs (of course) but shook hands with everyone. The staff did give out promo sheets to the fans with Mr. Shatner portraying "Kirk" from Star Trek-The Motion Picture and T.J. Hooker (Mr. Shanter portrayed a police officer in a television series of the same name).

It wasn't until May 5th, 1989 I went to my first Star Trek Convention in Omaha. Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) was appearing. She talked, signed autographs and took pictures with us. My brother Chuck and sons Devlun, Josh and brother-in-law Tyson went along. This is one of the pictures she signed for us.
