The Town of Marlborough War Memorial was dedicated on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 1958, by the Viebey American Legion Post # 124.
The Kingston Daily Freeman published the event on January 23, 1959.

On Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov 11, 2009, The Viebey-Sutton American Legion Post 124 unveiled two new memorials honoring Marlborough veterans who currently serve in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as those who served in the Gulf War. The ceremomy was documented in the Times Herald Record.
