Alaska

As of 1 Dec, 2004, here are some of the 35mm Alaska slides which I have scanned to digital. These were taken around base on Elmendorf:

Me with my 1954 Chevy that we nicknamed "Sherman" as in Sherman tank. This truck always started and got me where I needed to be. We would load the Honda ATC in the back, and when Sherman got stuck, out would come the ATC. Sean is looking over my shoulder. Too much fun:

There was an abandoned B-47 on the base back roads. It was a neat place to explore. That's Brian on top and Tom peeking through the port hole. Note that the SAC patch has been replaced on this side of the aircraft:

Exploring the B-47. Tom and Sean in the cockpit. Note the SAC patch in this shot:

Three brothers winging it.....:

Three brothers with the Honda ATC near the old B-47:

Another shot of the brothers at the B-47:

Brian on the Honda. Base back roads:

Brian ready for Monopoly. Kind of an "artsy" shot:

Brian in the yard with his new leg cast:

General shot of the Elmendorf flightline with the Chugach mountains in the background:

Another great Elmendorf/Chugach view:

The Elmendorf flightline on a cold, foggy morn:

Between work orders on 12 hour shifts. I was a pretty good Ping Pong player with a mean back hand:
