The Rosette Nebula in Monoceros

The Rosette Nebula, also known as  NGC 2237, is a very large wreath-like cloud of gas, 100 light years across, which is illuminated
by the young star cluster (NGC 2244) which it envelopes. It is about 3000 light years away.
