Our Favorite Ride

We have 6 grandchildren.

Faith is 12, Denise is 8, Brianna is 5

Sierra is 8, Nicholas is 5

We have three children.  All three live in Minnesota.

Linda and Brian live south of us.

Jeremy and Selina live north of us.

Nathan lives East of us.

 

We don’t get to see the northern branch as much as we’d like to.   They’re a busy bunch.

We see the southern and eastern branches more often but Faith being 12 is a gallivanter so we don’t have a current pic of her.

 

We are also blessed to have my parents and some of my grandparents still with us.  David’s are all gone now. He has one Uncle still with us.  It’s ok though.  I think my Mom loves him more than she loves me, sometimes.

David’s Uncle Lee died May 6th,2004.  It’s been hard for both of us as he was loved by so many.  We’re having a barbecue to share his life as he didn’t want the traditional “crap”.  “We love you Uncle Lee!!!”  And we miss you!!!  David was talking about making Potato pancakes for supper tonight.  I started to smile and immediately started to cry.  I won’t be bringing Uncle Lee any from this batch. 

I have 5 brothers and a sister while David was an only child.  I don’t get to learn any secrets there while he gets to hear all the stories.  Who said life was fair, not me.

David and I both served in the Navy and are very pro military.  We do a number of activities to help support our country’s military and their families.  There are links on Joseph’s site on how you can support the military and our country.
