This page is primarily for those who are in some confusion about the different types of neohomes, Classic Neohomes and Neohomes 2.0. It is not a guide to Neohomes 2.0. See the links section for more information about the new homes. This page is mainly a visual comparison. For a more in depth comparison of many features of the two types of homes, see Right vs. Might (also know as Classics vs. V2) by lady_ruyven (chaotizitaet). Keep in mind that, although anyone can create one now, Neohomes 2.0 are still in beta testing. The final release may be different than described here. You can build both a classic and a 2.0 home on the same account. You can also build both types on side accounts as long as all the neopoints and items come from your main account.

Pets | |
Pets cannot go into Classic Neohomes. Pets can be placed in Neohomes 2.0. They have the same pose as on their lookup, which cannot be changed. They will include any wearbles that they can wear or hold (not backgrounds, trinkets, thought bubbles, etc.). If the wearables are animated or sparkly they will appear that way in the new homes. The size of pets in the new homes varies. Chomby/Elephant/Grarrl/Skeith are quite large. Koi/Jubjub/Quiggle are quite small. Here are some examples. ![]() Pets cannot be rotated and do not move about or sit. There is an option on the 2.0 menu to add Petpets, but it has not been activated. |
