Robert A. Jones

A BewareOfBBAS.org “Person of Interest”

With the Anderson’s Complaint, Building Blocks revealed a previously unknown layer of its duplicitous Guatemalan operations.  That layer is Robert A. Jones.  His company — U.S. & Global Solutions.  His entry into this enterprise increases our questions.

Who is Robert A. Jones?  What is his relationship to Building Blocks Adoption Service, Inc., Denise L. Hubbard and Rick Marco?  Was he involved with BBAS during the Kaselak/Gornostaev era? How has he established connections in Guatemala?  Is he the main contact for Guatemala — Diaz Duran — attorneys, foster homes?  Is he connected with Rudy Rivera?  How long have BBAS and Jones been under contract?

We have not been able to unearth much about him.  In the Anderson’s complaint, he is referred to as “an attorney” by Linda Saridakis.  There is a Robert A. Jones, living at 14090 Royalton Road in Strongsville, Ohio.  His telephone number is (440) 572-1522.  We can not find any evidence he has a law degree or practices law in Ohio.

His wife, one Debra M. Jones, is a “second shift custodian” at Crestview Elementary School in the Brunswick City School System, Brunswick, Ohio.  She writes poetry, mainly about her teacher friends, most notably “Intervention Specialist” Kathleen Reed.  On top of her work as a poet and a “second shift custodian”, Mrs. Jones was writing a novel called A Cry In the Wilderness.

It appears the Jones operate a website called “Every Life Matters”:

The website is devoted to memorials to “Men, Women, Pets and Tributes”.  Of course, you have to pay to leave a cyber memorial for your loved ones — nobody works for free, even the God-fearing Christians in Strongsville, Ohio.

Happily, Mrs. Jones has links to her other poetry. On the site, her blurb states:

Debra is a 10-year member of the National Education Association and the Owner and Creator of Every Life Matters.  In her spare time, Debra enjoys spending time with her Husband, walking their Labrador, gardening, visiting with friends and writing poetry.

Her husband is not mentioned in the blurb, but he appears in his own “Tribute” – Tribute #2: Informative: Russia, An Emerging Economy.

It’s rather short.  He says a “Russian stock of interest is GAZPROM” ... the largest company in Russia, the largest gas exporter in the world. Not exactly an edgy investment to recommend.

And if you want to learn more “on this interesting subject, contact: Mr. Robert Jones rjones1@core.com

Get your cursors over the email and write immediately!  You won’t want to miss out!

But we were struck by this on his blurb:  “Mr. Jones spent over six months living/working in Russia, therefore, he has personal knowledge of the culture.”

Instead of a Rudy Rivera connection, was there a Dennis Kaselak connection?  If — if — Robert A. Jones is an attorney, both he and Kaselak may have known one another.  And the “astounding opportunities” available in Russia with its “emerging economy”?  Could Kaselak instead of Rivera or Marco have been the connection for Building Blocks?  And how did he make the jump from Russia to Guatemala?

We are unsure if there is a connection, but it’s curious because on February 9, 1999, Robert A. Jones and James N. Walters incorporated a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) in Ohio called U.S. & Global Solutions Ltd.  Since it’s a privately held for-profit concern, the articles of incorporation are vague as to exactly what U.S. & Global Solutions Ltd does.

I.A.C.S., Dennis Kaselak’s facilitation organization, was incorporated in June 1998 for BBAS Russian adoption program.   We wonder about the connection, but cannot comment further at this point in time. It could be nothing at all.

The last information we obtained on U.S. & Global Solutions was another articles of incorporation from Ohio’s Secretary of State’s office.  On February 27, 2003, Robert A. Jones changed the company from an LLC to a for-profit business.  Its name changed to U.S. & Global Solutions, Inc.

We asked several Guatemalan Building Blocks clients if they were aware of U.S. & Global Solutions. None of them were.

Which means – Denise Hubbard and Richard J. Marco, Jr. are able to siphon funds, but those siphoned funds are not as lucrative as we first believed.  It means a client’s money is being divided between Hubbard & Marco and Robert A. Jones.   HOWEVER – a client makes their check or cashier’s check payable to “Building Blocks Adoption Service, Inc.”  Denise plants the client’s funds into BBAS bank account, under her husband Gary’s name, and then writes another check for that client to Robert A. Jones/U.S. & Global Solutions.

Why isn’t BBAS being up front that clients money is going towards a for-profit organization?  It’s really awful – that money could be used for any non adoption purpose – purposes that a BBAS client would not agree with.  How does a client know that their funds are being given to the attorneys and foster mothers in Guatemala?  Is this the truth behind Denise’s recent beg-fests and nickel & dime schemes

It would appear that little money is actually reaching Guatemala.  It makes sense that if the money doesn’t go for proper care of the babies (foster care, HOGAR), the babies welfare and health are at risk.  Foster mothers and HOGAR workers don’t work for free. If they don’t have money to provide for the babies, the babies will suffer for it.

Unfortunately, too many PAPs are falling for this arrangement.  It’s time for Denise Lynn Harding-Hubbard to come clean about where their funds are actually going — and how much of a cut Building Blocks Adoption, the Hubbard family and Rick Marco are getting per adoption.

Robert Jones of Strongsville, Ohio if you’re out there reading this, perhaps you can answer some of our questions.
