This small family plot is located near the junction of Hancock Creek
and the Neuse River. Permission from the base is required
to visit the spot. Take Roosevelt Blvd. through the Married Officers
Quarters and keep going towards the river. After the Officers Quarters
the road winds around
and passes a couple of huts on the river seawall which in past years
have been used by Boy and Girl Scouts. A little farther down the road is
a dirt road that turns off to the right. If you miss this you will run
into a security fence guarding the Navy Boat Docks where the road runs
out. Taking that right turn will lead you to this small cemetery. It is
a little ways into the woods on the left. Farther down this road is a dock
where people fish and crab.
