                                Coaches Meeting w/Team Captain 9:45a at Starting Line

All Field Events – 10:00am

                             Prelims – 10:30am

 

Teams:                Alton, Belleville East, Belleville West, Bloomington, Carbondale, Centralia, Collinsville, Edwardsville, Freeburg,

Granite City, Mahomet-Seymour, Marion, Mascoutah,

Mt. Vernon, O’Fallon, Triad

 

Host:                    Belleville West High School

Location:             Belleville West Track and Field Complex

 

Awards:              Eight Places and Eight Awards will be given

                             in all events. Medals 1-5, Ribbons 6-8

         Team Trophy’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

 

Scoring:             10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 in all events and relays.

 

Events:                Regular order of events with prelims in 100M 100M HH, and 200M

                             All Field events will have 4 attempts and No Finals

                             Open order in Long Jump and Triple Jump (75 min)

                             Long jump and discus followed by triple jump and shot put.

 

Entries:               All entries should be made by going ONLINE to www.sydexsports.com –

                             the Sydex Website On-line Entries System by noon on March 25, 2013 (See attached for Sydex instructions)

 

1. This meet will be governed by the I.H.S.A. Track and Field Rules

2. ¼ “pyramid or less spikes can be worn. No spikes in the bleachers.

3. Please bring your own starting blocks.

4. Teams should be set up outside the fence around the track.

5. All teams should come dressed.

6. Keep all athletes off of infield

7. All Athletes must report to the bullpen or they will be scratched.

8. Admission Price: Adults $3.00 Students $2.00

9. Concession Stand will be available.
