What is Strike Warfare?
Simply put, it is the attack of targets on the land or sea surface by weapons launched from aircraft, ships or submarines. By that definition, strike warfare began a long time ago with simple cannon balls fired from sailing ships. Today we find a diverse array of complex weapon systems in use around the world, including those that are launched remotely from unmanned flying machines. This book puts both the operational usage of strike weapons and their development into clear perspective
