This is one of several arch sizes and styles that I make. A larger arch frame is pictured with an art deco style glass
treatement, on the main art page of this website. That same 20" by 35" frame size is well-suited for many different glass designs, including some Victorian styles that
are well-suited to such a classic shape. Besides a simple border of glass, like the mirror pictured above, the top, curved area can accomodate various decorative designs.
Additional three-piece accent clusters in the lower corners can serve to provide thematic continuity throughout the piece.
It's easy to alter the length of these mirrors, and by changing the proportions this way, a very different look can be achieved. If additional width is desired, I can bump up the size to 24" wide---doesn't sound like much difference, but it's significant, and noticeable. This design has been popular for many years, and it's easily enlarged, either proportionately, or without regard to such constraints. This frame style has even been used for Art Deco style glass designs, some of them quite wild, and others slightly more tame. You can see one such Art Deco design, from several years ago, by clicking on Movie Marquee mirror.
