E3 2003: Joe's Top Five Games
written by Joe Asphahani

The Show Lives on in Spirit

The show may be over but we still have a man in E3, wandering the empty halls and reliving the show in spirit (aided by a host of hallucinogens). For Gameculture, the show's not over until we say it is! So our man Joe is still checking out the games and giving us the lowdown through his purple haze. Here are his Top 5 games of E3 2003.

Resident Evil: Outbreak #5
Capcom(PS2)

PS2 broadband users, get ready to finally put that little black box to good use! This was one of the last games I played before leaving the show, and after considering all the great titles I’d experienced before it, making it into my top 5 is definitely saying something....

Tron 2.0 #4
Buena Vista Entertainment (PC)

Failure to play this game when it is released on August 26th will result in immediate de-resolution!

The Incredible Hulk #3
Vivendi Universal(GCN/XBOX/PS2)

...as the Hulk, all you have to do is smash, maim, and destroy as many enemies and objects as you feel necessary !

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater #2
Konami(PS2)

Let’s just hope the story is a bit more diluted and comprehensible this time around…

On to Joe's Game of the Show!

Ubi Soft and Microsoft were playing tag team in the South Hall drawing the largest crowds.

Vivendi Universal's booth was much more attractive this year.
