One of the world's oldest & purest breeds

  • These original Norsemen Fjords have outstanding strength, normal height & are capable of any sized rider.
  • They are renowned for their sweet disposition & friendliness. Most folks say they'll ruin your interest in other breeds. (Warning - They are addictive!)
  • The Norwegian Fjord Horse has been internationally acclaimed as the "best military mountain horse in the world", & so they traverse these steep Rocky Mountains so well.

  A2Z Thorson

Thorson's sire, A2Z Thor, is pictured on the June page of the 1998 calendar. He was also featured in a 1995 edition of the Herald, page 16. His grandma Ylanda was pictured in the Norwegian driving book pulling a wedding coach, and he himself was Libby's International Norwegian Fjord Horse Show's first place ribbon in halter class. He is a beautiful animal!

A2Z Thorson was FIRST PLACE stallion halter class at the International Fjord Horse Show in 2003 in Libby, MT.

Here is a photo, by Mirror K Studio of Libby, of our stallion and his family, featured in the Dec. '02 issue of "The Horse" magazine, page 43. The article addresses the worth of "Keeping a stallion with a foaling mare."
Gene has built three authentic overland stagecoaches. They are accurate in every detail; oak, leather, even square bolts. They are reinforced, totally able to withstand hard wear. His second coach is presently serving a dude ranch in Oregon.
