When sending photos by email:

Save the image as JPEG ( or .jpg ) directly from your camera or scanner
software.

Send only one photo per email note.

Include a caption in the email note, possibly humorous. :-)

Identify as many people as possible.

Ensure that the photographer's name is in the email note.

Send file as an email "Attachment", using a tool with a paperclip icon
or the word "attach".
( do not drag-and-drop the image file into the email note)
When sending photos by snail-mail:

Try to send electronically first, to minimize risk of loss.

Or ask for
Kodak Picture CD when you get regular film processed.

Or take prints or negatives to a Kinko or similar service.

Include a caption in the note, possibly humorous. :-)

Identify as many people as possible.

Ensure that the photographer's name is included.
