January 2002 -- Lance and I are in our favorite cookie eating position. We're munching on cookies from Great Grandma Hvistendahl--you know, those ones with the chocolate stars in the middle. Num-num!!!! (We eat the starts FIRST!)

January 2002 -- Here I am sitting in Lance's newly decorated room. Sure wish mommy would get mine done! I've tried helping her by writing on my walls but mommy wasn't impressed. I no longer like to look at any pictures of myself with pigtails. I say, "Me sad. NO! Me mad." That comment always breaks everyone's heart who hears it.

July 2002 -- Sitting pretty! This was taken about two weeks before I was diagnosed. Who would know that there was something big, bad and deadly growing inside of me when looking at this picture?

July 2002 -- Lance and I are smiling just for Tammy. Nana Eide really hates it when we do this (we think she thinks it's going to become permanent). Every time we do this, Tammy will do it, too!! Again, these are taken about two weeks before diagnosis.
