Lake Placid High School
Annual Murder Mystery

Date: September 26, 2009
Time: 7:03 p.m.

When a 300 pound mobile crashes down on the art teacher, it's not just a movement, it's murder. Art teacher, Autumn Leaves, was examining the latest class project of the advanced art class --- ironically titled "iron butterfly" --- when a wing dropped on her. There was a screw loose and the 'accident' left the art teacher dead.

Once again, it will take an audience of super sleuths to solve this murder. The murder mystery production is set for a September 26, performance, with a show time at 7:03 p.m. The Lake Placid Central School Drama Club presents: "DOA: Death of Art." DOA is an audience participation murder mystery, in which the audience must interview the cast of characters to figure out the guilty suspect. Best of all, there will be prizes for the best detectives.

First wannabe sherlocks must figure out the motive and how the art students found a way to loosen the screws of the 20 ft sculpture of a butterfly. The term "loose screw" has a weird twist of faith, because the advance art class was nothing BUT loose

The play is directed by Peggy Plank and the original script is by Gem*Boy.
