The air is filled with contempt, greed and deceit. And it has nothing to do with the winter fund raising of the Adirondack Public Radio Station, but it does have a lot to do with the murdered radio host Broadcast Bob Perkins. It is also the plot of the audience participation production of "Murderer's Lullaby."

"Murderer's Lullaby" takes place at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, NY on February 4 and 10, 2006, during Winter Carnival. The night of mystery starts with cash bar at 5:27 p.m. and the performance begins at 6:02 p.m. and it is up to the audience to figure out who is who, what is what and the name of the murderer.

The victim Perkins was notorious for his Saturday night broadcasts of the "Rock the Cradle" radio show. The show featured the music of rock and roll in its infancy, but many referred to it as the show with the infantile host.

Broadcast Bob was known to utter many a political barb, in between romancing rich widows of the North Country. The widows were generous in their contributions - both to Perkins and the station's funding. While the women had a lot of pull, it was not beyond Broadcast Bob to yank their chains.

When you mix love and money, trouble is bound to follow. No one expected that the beguiling Broadcast Bob's mixing of romance and contributions to his lifestyle would lead to his death. Was it a jealous widow; an angry ex-husband; or grouchy station manager? It will take crafty audience to figure it out. Humor abounds in the adventure that has become a Winter Carnival tradition.

Did his love of money or women with money contributed to his death at age 27? There will be no easy answer in the seventh annual murder mystery to take place in the historic Hotel Saranac. The audience member that pays attention will have the opportunity to win a prize while enjoying a delicious meal and a night of fun.

A rock solid cast of: Jessica Deeb, Chris DeHond, Scott Eichholz, Doug Fransen, Joan Tyler and Lucky Cerruti will provide a night intrigue and humor.

There will be two performances of this entertaining whodunit at the Hotel Saranac on February 4 and 10, beginning at 5:27 p.m. and the performance begins at 6:02 p.m. (dinner at 7:03 p.m.)

The Hotel Saranac will be the site of "Murderer's Lullaby"; cocktails at 5:27 p.m., with each performance at 6:02 p.m. "Murderer's Lullaby" is a play in which the audience attempts solves the crime. Each of the two performances will have a different ending and the guileful sleuths have a chance to win prizes for their deductions.

"Murderer's Lullaby" is written by Gem*Boy and is filled with Adirondack humor. Best of all there is a seasoned cast that audiences have enjoyed from the previous six Winter Carnival Mysteries!
