Mrs. Gladys L. Lowry
LAURENS. Nov. 9 - Mrs, Gladys
Lee Lowry, 47, died early Tuesday
morning at the home of her moth-
er, Mrs. Mamie M. Hayden, Rt. 2,
Laurens. She had been in declin-
ing health for ten weeks.
 A native of Laurens County, she
was the daughter of Mrs. Mamie
Mil(l)er Hayden and the late Wil-
liam Lee. She had made her home
in Danville, Ga., most of her life-
time and had returned to Laurens
a short time ago. She was a mem-
ber of Oakwood Baptist Church,
Anderson.
 Surviving besides her mother
are one half-brother, A.C. Hay-
den, Slater, three half-sisters,
Mrs. S.R. Bishop, Greenwood;
Mrs. Ruby Collins and Mrs.
Charles Satterfield, both of Green-
ville.
 Funeral services will be con-
ducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
Kennedy Mortuary Chapel by the
Rev. E.C. White and the Rev.
Paul Mabry. Burial will be in
Forest Lawn Cemetery.
 Pallbearers who will meet at
the mortuary at 1:30 p.m. will be
Albert Turner, Willson Foster, Le-
roy Ashmore, Lewis Fowler, Wm.
M. Ellison and Maxie Abercrom-
bie.
 The body is at the home until
noon Wednesday when it will be
returned to the mortuary.
