Frances B. Rhinehart

CANTON—Frances Viola Bonham Rhinehart, 90, of 45 Will Bailey Lane, passed away peacefully to be
with the Lord at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

She was a native of Buncombe County but resided in Haywood County most of her life. She was the
daughter of the late Erastus and Harriet Stines Bonham. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Hubert Rhinehart who died in 1998, 11 brothers and sisters and four grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Ernestine Stamey of Canton, Betty Sue Lanning of Clyde and
Pat Reed and her husband Don of Canton; four sons, Thomas Edward Rhinehart and his wife Jewel of
Leicester, Roy Lee Rhinehart and his wife Betty of Canton, Billy Joe Rhinehart and his wife
Freida of Canton and Isac Vincent Rhinehart of Canton; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren;
five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with
the Rev. David Reed and the Rev. Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial followed at Bon-A-Venture
Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family received friends Saturday at the funeral home. At other times,
the family was at the residence of Pat Reed, 27 Cedar St., Canton.

Pallbearers were Steve Rhinehart, Donnie Reed, Johnny Reed, Carlton Sellers, Josh Creason and Jeremy Lanning.
