Joseph F. Hayden Sr.
Slater
Joseph Fowler Hayden Sr., 66, of 119 Webster St., passed away Wednesday,
July 25, 2007, at home.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Aubrey Cleveland
and Everyne Katherine Fowler Hayden. Mr. Hayden was past worshipful master
of Sam Poe Lodge No. 284 and past member of Ebenezer Lodge No. 101, A.F.M.
He was a retired custodian with the School District of Greenville County
and a member of Slater Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Sara Bailey Hayden of the home; daughter,
Angela Hayden Bright of Slater; son, Joseph F. "Joe" Hayden Jr. and wife,
Bonnie, of Charles Town, W.Va.; four granddaughters, Amanda Anglin, Victoria
Hayden, Elizabeth Hayden and Caroline Hayden; grandson, Eric Bailey; great-
grandson, Thomas James Anglin; and a brother, Aubrey Gerald Hayden.
He was predeceased by a sister, Judy Hayden Eller.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 at The Howze Mortuary Chapel
with burial to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 to 11 at The Howze
Mortuary.
The family will be at the home.
