R. Truman Brock, Greenville
Robert Truman Brock, 74, of 17 Meadors Ave., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000, at his
home.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Ansel Brock Sr. and Beatrice
Murdock Brock. He was retired from Paul's Trucking Co. and was a member of Forest
Hills Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Doris Hayden Gregory Brock; a daughter and son-in-law,
Susan and Bob Dicey of Simpsonville; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and
Mary Brock of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Jon and Sheila Brock of Greenville; four
stepsons, Lamar Gregory Jr. and Samuel Gregory, both of Belton, John Gregory of
Greenville, and Zachary Gregory of Williamston; two sisters, Dorothy Ruth Brock
of Anderson, and Victorine Smith of Abbeville; three brothers, Lawrence Brock
of Greenville, and Furman Brock and Ansel Brock Jr., both of Anderson; and
grandchildren, Elisabeth Dickey, Chelsea Dicey, Jonathan Brock, Joseph Brock
and Phillip Brock. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joyce Long Brock.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Hills Baptist Church. Burial: Greenville
Memorial Gardens.
