Doris Gregory Brock
Belton
Doris Catherine Hayden Gregory Brock, 70, widow of the late Charles Lamar Gregory
Sr. and the late Truman Brock, of 103 N. Holmes St., Belton, died Thursday, March
11, at Anderson Area Medical Center.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Alvin "Red" Hayden
and Magdalene Keisler Hayden. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and
a member of Dorchester Baptist Church. She was retired from GE.
Surviving are sons, Zack Gregory of Williamston, Charles Lamar Gregory Jr. of
Belton, Johnny Crawford Gregory of Easley, and Samuel Clifton Gregory of Belton;
sisters, Carolyn Locke of Belton, Margaret Hayden of Anderson, and Sarah Lindsey
of Honea Path; brothers, Kenneth Hayden of Belton, Billy Hayden of Belton, and
Marvin Hayden of Concord, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dean
Webb and the Rev. Jim McClure officiating. Burial will follow at The Garden of
Memories.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are optional or memorials are to be made to the building fund for Cedar
Grove Baptist Church.
The family will be at 103 N. Main St., Belton.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
