PLAN CAMPBELL SERVICES TODAY
LAST RITES AT MORTUARY FOR 105 - YEAR - OLD NATIVE OF GREENVILLE
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Moon Campbell, whose death occured
at 5 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs.
S.J. Nalley, with whom she made her home, in Pickens, will be held this
afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Mackey Mortuary. The services will be
conducted by the Rev. J.D. Elrod, of Easley, and the Rev. W.R. Bouknight,
of this city, and the interment will be made in Graceland Cemetery.
Serving as the pallbearers will be Louis Fowler, Carl Fowler, Roy
Fowler, Marion Henderson, George Burrell and Aubrey Hayden.
Mrs. Campbell was reared in Greenville County, a daughter of the
late Gideon Moon, pioneer citizen of the county, and the widow of
the late Boland Campbell. Until one year ago she lived in Greenville
and was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church.
One daughter, Mrs. Hattie Atkins, of Greenville, survives her, with
a large family connection.
Until the funeral hour the body will remain at the mortuary.
