Getting a Copy of the latest (released February 2004) FCC Rules ($61).

How can you be sure your station is in compliance with the FCC rules and regulations if you don't have an updated copy.

The main publication you'll need is called "Code of Federal Regulations Title 47, Parts 70-79, revised as of October 1, 2003."
This revision became available on February 23, 2004.

Until September, 2003, previous copies of this publication were available from Government Printing Office (GPO) Bookstores around the country.
Then, GPO closed these bookstores, so now the publication is only available for ordering online or via mail order.

You can also access an online copy of these rules. You'll find a link on the IBS web site at www.ibsradio.org   On the opening page, click "Click Here to Enter the IBS Web Site" then scroll down near the bottom of the page and you'll see the FCC rules and regulations link and other info below one of the FCC logos.
