This is written for
and dedicated
to my grand-children, Gabrielle Marie, Bryce Benjamin, and Garrett
Maddeford Sullivan. It is not written out of ego, but for their
information in the future. I only remember my grand-parents as
the older people that I saw when I was young. I never knew about
their lives when they were young, where they lived, what they
did, or how they met. I've written this story so my grand-children
and their children will know about me and my life. In the words
of the Crosby, Stills & Nash song, "Teach Your Children".
