The Abstract Box is made from Bubinga.   The top (outside) is a simple abstract picture (birdseye maple, walnut burl & cherry):

The interior of the box is lined with bluish-green velveteen fabric.
The inner lid is walnut veneer:

The sides were joined with hand-cut dovetails.
The box is approximately 13-3/4" by 8-5/8" by 3-1/4" high with side handles of walnut.
