Betty's New Box:

This box was made to replace the box now in Connie's Possession. This is a large box (around 10" by 15" by 6" high) with a marquetry lid.  The striking veneer in the background is tiger Maple.  My Daughters face was fine until it was clamped to the underlying plywood, then the maple veneer cracked along her nose! :>(
The box is lined with Green padded velvet.  The box itself is made from walnut.  Brass accents complete the ensemble.  I seriously doubt that Betty will ever part with it, so don't ask.
