Cathy's Fairy Jewelry Box: |
This is a large box (around 13" by 18" by 15" high) with a marquetry lid. The box has three drawers, two side panels and a "Lara's Theme (Doctor Zhivago)" music box inside the locking lid compartment, with an inlaid mirror. The inside of the box's drawers, side panels and lid compartment are lined with padded crimson red velvet. The box itself is made from cherry. The box was given to Cathy for Christmas of 2004. I seriously doubt that Cathy, my second cousin, will ever part with it, so don't ask.
