Mahogany Fairy Box:

This is a large (22" * 13" * 5-3/4") Mahogany box with a marquetry picture on top. The Fairy's wings are quilted maple, the background is Cherry (top) and Walnut (bottom). The Fairy's red outfit is dyed birch, and her hair is walnut burl. The box is lined with padded forest green velour, the inside lid is walnut veneer and it's fitted with brass hinges and lid support. The lid handles are padouk, the side handles are walnut.
