Names, Titles, and Attributes of Jesus - For Kids
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given,
and the government shall be upon His shoulder.
And His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end,
upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it,
and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever."

In the Bible there are many truly unique names, titles, and attributes, most of which are expressily stated, and some that are clearly implied. When taken collectively, and understood in the true context of their meaning; and what these names, titles, and attributes thus imply concerning the very nature of Jesus, we then begin to realize how truly unique Jesus is above and beyond any other human person who has ever lived.
The list of Names, Titles, and Attributes of Jesus provided below, are linked to short devotional studies especially for kids. These devotionals are not comprehensive; but they do bring together a few verses from the Bible that will hopefully assist children in a time of personal meditative thoughtfulness on a particular Name, Title, or Attribute of Jesus. Parents are strongly encouraged to share these devotionals with their children. For older childern the adult versions (see here) may be more appropriate. Parents may also consider preparing a short list of review questions, and additional imput for these devotionals. I also encourage parents to have your children pray, along with you, the closing devotional prayer, or any other preferred closing prayer, to our Lord and Savior.
For Parents and your children in Christ Jesus, my hope, and prayer for you, is that these devotional studies will help you to together grow closer to the One whom you call Lord and Savior - even Jesus Christ our Lord.
