Aly is an Alaskan Husky. His parents have run in the John Beargrease Sled Dog Race. As a puppy he was already too large to make a good sled dog, which is how we came to acquire him.

The Inuit name for Alaska is "Alyeska", hence this is how we came to name our "cute little puppy".
