The future begins here...

Preschool:

Kids World 3 and 4/5 year old programs are  theme-based, with an integrated approach building a strong foundation for school success.  Curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best by doing.  A hands-on approach includes a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities.  Daily curriculum stimulates language development; promotes small/large muscle coordination, creative concepts and introduces skills that are continually reinforced though out the scope and sequence of the curriculum from one age level to the next.

Hands-on activities and a mix of small group and group-initiated activities are used to keep children actively involved as they are learning.  A variety of materials and activities are used on a daily basis to stimulate brain development.

Parents may enroll children in a 3 or 4/5 year old preschool curriculum from one to five days per week.  The curriculum will run on a daily basis for both ages from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

Children already contracted into regular day care are offered the curriculum at no extra charge beyond the regular childcare fee being paid.  Children not enrolled in daily contracted day care may also enroll in the 9-11:30 a.m. curriculum.  Parents will be asked to pay the one-time family registration fee of $20.00 required by Kids World, Inc. and complete all regular medical paperwork required by the state.  Parents are offered the opportunity to contract the 9-11:30 curriculum program hours weekly, for the number of days desired, at the regular contracted daycare fee of $2.85 per hour.

By having an on-going curriculum skills are being constantly introduced and reinforced. Children do not miss out on developmental concepts and skills. Parents will have the option of deciding the number of days per week that they desire their child to participate.

The preschool programs are on-going year around.  Summer programs lighten with more fun-based thematic units offered where skills are reinforced.
