So, you decided to read on, well good for you!
As you can see, I am roguishly handsome. Age - Unknown. I live with my
wife, Leigh, daughter, Calliope and our dog, Sherman. We now live in our first house in the
St. Louis area. If you wish to see me naked,
I enjoy watching and reading science fiction, playing computer games, collecting Star Wars memorabilia (though Lucas has gotten a little out of hand with this last release - Ep. III), photography (I hope to eventually have some of my photographs up), and music (everything about music). Also fond of antiques, I used to drive a '63 Ford Fairlane 500 (which had gone across this country (east coast to mid-west) a few times), a '66 Mercury Parklane, and a '55 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe (follow this link to view some pictures of the cars). We also used to have a '58 Studebaker Champion.
Reading is a pastime which has caused me to acquire more books than I have read (almost 2000). My basement looks more like a library than anything else. Though I have read many of them. They range from Orson Scott Card and Frank Herbert to Agatha Christie to anthologies on music.
Speaking of music, let me write a little about this area of interest... Composing music is a real enjoyment. I also play the guitar. Previously I studied for three years in classical, and then onto jazz for three years. I have played in a few bands as well as in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Currently, I am working with Sense Datum, a progressive hard-rock/metal band. I still listen to quite a bit of the old heavy metal (W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden. Megadeth, Judas Priest, Accept, Warlock, Metal Church, etc.), newer metal (Blind Guardian, Angel Dust, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Jag Panzer, ShadowKeep, etc.), classic rock (ELO, LRB, Kansas, Elton John, John Lennon, Wings, Steely Dan, etc.), jazz (Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, Stanley Clark, Chick Corea, etc.) and classical (Holst, Mozart, Segovia, Vivaldi, etc.), and feel that the influences of all these styles have made a great impact on my own musical ventures. For those curious of some of the stuff I write, I included one of my earlier compositions here. I also have a page of classical guitar MIDI files I put together, consisting of Renaissance to Modern compositions.
For great Jazz music in the St. Louis area (except when they play Harry "Comic" Jr.), listen to WSIE 88.7 FM.
