Center for Learning
Residents may use the Center for Learning computers if class is not in session. When a class is starting, non-registered residents must leave the computer lab. There is a limit of one hour per session on Vista Club public computers.
Noise
The Center for Learning serves as a shared study area where noise must be kept at a minimum.
Food and Drinks
No food and drinks are allowed in the Center for Learning except capped bottled water.
Children and Guests in labs
Children and guests are not allowed in the Center for Learning. The computer lab is for use by residents only.
Equipment Malfunctions
Please report any equipment malfunctions to the Vista Club desk.
Copyrights and Licensing
The Center for Learning enforces legal protections provided by copyright and licensing of computer programs and data. No copying of any software from the computer lab will be allowed. Any user caught making illegal copies will be subject to disciplinary action.
Software and Manuals
All software manuals and equipment must stay in the computer lab unless checked out by a member of the computer club or Vista Club desk personnel.
Storing Files and Data
Installation of any programs or data files on any public computer lab machine is prohibited. You may create and save personal files to portable diskettes. User data will be periodically removed from the public computers both in the Center for Learning and the Cyber Café.
