I am a cat person and missing my sweet Silver Persians, we have adopted a new kitty -
Dante
Meet Dante, an exotic short hair. Exotic short hair kitties are a cross between the British short hair and the persian family, sometimes called the easy to care for persian. Dante's cat mother was an exotic short hair by the name of Constellation and his father was a flame point himalayan by the name of Royal Heir. Dante is a cream tabby mackerel exotic short hair with big copper eyes.
Born April 2, 2006, Dante has a wonderful temperament. He loves people and is always purring. He follows us around the house keeping us company. It has been a while since we were around kittens so he keeps us busy and laughing but has a lot of love and affection. Welcome Dante.

My Silver Persians will always be in my heart. These kitties were given to me after losing my dear sweet Duster Dan, aged 18 years old, who passed away of natural causes. Tippy, a lovely quiet girl kitty, could not deal with the grief and she passed away a few months later. My house seemed so empty. Peggie, who worked in the vet's office, was a breeder of Silver Persians. She had one male kitty she could not show nor wanted to breed as he had a habit of sticking his tongue out all the time. Peggie was looking for a home for this 9 month old male. To keep the male company she also gave me a lovely girl kitty about a year old.
Harry and Sally became their names. Born in 1991 in Austin Texas. Both kitties passed away from cancer in California after giving us many years of love and joy. Rest in peace and thank you for those years we did have with both of you.
Harry 
also known as Harry Bear is often found sleeping on the couch but wakes up and lifts his head and looks at you with his dark emerald green eyes. If we are gone for any length of time,especially if it gets dark when we come home, he greets us in the entry way with 'the look'. Harry's fur is very thick and requires almost daily brushing which is not one of his favorite things. Unfortunately Harry is nearly blind but is very aware of his surroundings. His main responsibilies in life is to be my lap cat and keep track of what is going on in the house.
Harry born 1991 - died March 3, 2006. Rest in peace my lovey boy. My arms will be so empty with you gone but Sally may have needed you.
Sally 
is also known as supersonic silly sweet Sally Ann. Sally is slender and can run like a bolt of lightning. Sally's fur is not as thick as Harry's fur but is long and cascading. At times, I trim her fur as it wants to drag on the floor. The fur on her tail is absolute gorgeous but then so is Sally. To us she is the prettiest of cats, even prettier than those Silver Persians on TV. Her main responsiblity in life is to keep her daddy company on his chair as we watch TV at night. She will even race him to his chair. In 2004, Sally has had two operations due to cancer.
Sally born 1991 - died Dec 30, 2005 Rest in peace beautiful girl, you will be dearly missed.
