Church Registers of Klein Tinz

Notes

Franz Gartner

Weidenau became part of Czechoslovakia and was renamed Vidnava.

Johann Joseph Knörndel

Listed as second son of George Knörndel at his wedding to Anna Rosina Hahn on 26 Nov 1798.

Gottfried Hahn

LOCATION: The entries showing his occupation cleary spell "Brocke." This entry using this spelling appears several times in the Trauungsbuch of Klein Tinz. However, a town by that name could not be located in Schlesien using the Genealogisches Ortsverzeichnis (gov.genealogy.net) or Kartenmeister (www.kartenmeister.com). Most likely, the entry refers to nearby Brockau (1945: Brochow), also in Breslau county, located at 17º04' East, 51º03' North.

Johann Joseph Pitsch

At the marriage of Johann Gottlieb Patzelt to Maria Elisabeth Pitsch on 11 Oct 1795, the bride's father is listed as the deceased Jeremias Pitsch, Erbgärtner, Gerichtsgeschworener und Kirchmarter in Kleintinz. The bride was Jeremias Pitsch's youngest daughter.

At the marriage of Johann Joseph Pitsch to Johanna Sladasch on 24 Nov 1799, the groom's father is listed as the deceased Jeremias Pitsch, Gärtner in Kleintinz. The groom was Jeremias Pitsch's second son.

The differences in the occupation entries can be attributed to normal variation due to human inconsistencies. These differences nothwithstanding, Jeremias Pitsch is believed to have been the father of both Maria Elisabeth and Johann Joseph.

Johanna Sladasch

At the marriage of Anton Sempke to Anna Rosina Sladasch on 22 Jul 1798, the bride's father is listed as the deceased Johann Christoph Sladasch, Erbgärtner in Kleintinz. The bride was Johann Christoph Sladasch's third daughter.

At the marriage of Johann Joseph Pitsch to Johanna Sladasch on 24 Nov 1799, the bride's father is listed as the deceased Christoph Sladasch, Gärtner in Kleintinz. The bride was Christoph Sladasch's second daughter.

At the marriage of Johann Joseph Prauß to Anna Maria Sladasch on 24 Nov 1799, the bride's father is listed as the deceased Christoph Sladasch, Gärtner in Kleintinz. The bride was Christoph Sladasch's fourth daughter.

The birth year for Anna Rosina (3rd daughter) and Anna Maria (4th daughter) was calculated from the age at marriage. Although this yields 1775 as the year of birth for both, Anna Rosina could have been born anytime between 23 Jul 1774 and 22 Jul 1775. Anna Maria could have been born between 25 Nov 1774 and 24 Nov 1775. With this range of dates, and noting their order of birth, it is entirely possible that they were sisters.

The differences in the given name and in the occupation entries can be attributed to normal variation due to human inconsistencies. These differences nothwithstanding, Johann Christoph Sladasch is believed to have been the same person as Christoph Sladasch and the father of Anna Rosina, Johanna and Anna Maria.
