Attribution of Gottfried Klinner as father is speculative. It is based on these facts:
1. The marriage to Anna Weiß required permission by the courts.
2. Johann Ernst Wilhelm and Carl August Klinner both had were bricklayers.
3. Johann Ernst Wilhelm and Carl August Klinner both were protestants.
Listed as only daughter of Joseph Weiß at her wedding to Carl August Klinner on 6 Jun 1870. Age was not entered.
Listed as the widow Klinner, age 33, at her wedding to Johann Ernst Wilhelm Klinner on 22 Jun 1884.
Bemerkung zum Todeseintrag: The attribution of Klinner as the father is problematic in that his occupation of Häusler shown in this reference does not match the others which have been consistently entered him as a Maurer[geselle]. However, Johann Ernst Wilhelm was called Ernst, there were children before and after Anna, his wife's first name was Anna, and the residence and time match. None of the other Klinner families had the right name or were at the right age.
Bemerkung zum Todeseintrag: Emil Klinner ist als Häuslerssohn eingetragen. Der Beruf seines Vaters Ernst ist jedoch als Maurer angegeben.
