Phillies 27 - Orioles 9

The Phillies stormed past the Orioles in the playoff opener, 27 to 9. The offense erupted for 23 hits. The Phils were paced by Austin’s 5 for 5 effort which included 3 doubles. Adding 3 hits, were Josh, Aaron and Mike D. Daniel and Mike D and each scored 5 runs. Aaron and Josh ripped triples. The Phillies scored at least 3 runs in each inning. Dan pitched the first three innings for the win and was relieved by Mike L and Tyler with two solid innings each. Mike L. made a nice running catch in center. The Orioles fielded a young team and gave a valiant, effort but were overmatched.
