Phillies 18 - Charlotte 6

The Phillies continue their torrid play with a convincing 18-6 romp over 2nd place Charlotte. The Phils ripped 16 hits and have scored in 15 straight innings. Leading the offense was Roger who ripped 2 triples, a double and a single and scored 3 times. Tyler added three hits and scored 4 runs. Roger struck out 5 in four innings for the win while Mike D k’ed three in three innings for the save. Outstanding defense was played by all. Mike D threw out a runner at the plate, Austin made a nice play from deep in the hole at short and Josh snagged a line drive at first base and doubled up the Charlotte runner. The Phillies record now stands @ 10 and 2 and they play the Giants for the championship.
