The Cubs started the season off on a high note. The offense exploded for 21 hits against an overmatched Rockies squad. Leading the hit parade was Roger with 4 hits Austin with 3 and big extra base blasts by Mike D, Daniel, Lowen, Jake and Mike S. Roger overcame a wild 1st inning and turned in a fine 4 inning stint for the win. Colby and Dan closed it out.
