The Cubs won their most exciting game of ’08 by rallying from an 8-1 deficit in the 5th inning and beating the Red Sox 13-9. Jake led the way with 3 hits and Nick rapped 2. Austin earned the win with 5 strikeouts in 3 strong relief innings. This stunning comeback ended with a Mike to Lowen to Jake double play.
