The game wasn’t as close as the final score, as the Cubs built a 13-0 lead going into the 7th. Roger pitched 4 outstanding innings of no-hit ball and earned the win. Austin added 2 more hitless innings.

Leading the way batting were Lowen with 3 hits and Nick with 2. The Cubs were aided by 12 walks. The defensive highlight was turned in by Nick who fielded a grounder at 2nd, tagged the runner and threw to Josh to complete the double play. The Cubs played errorless ball until the 7th.
