Unprepared Ice Bats downed by DA Moose

The referee was feeling a little chilled and decided to start the game a few minutes before the eight o'clock start time. Since Ross "Stopper" Hedin was wasn't quite ready yet. Duane "Killer" Koshiol played emergency goalie in the game's first minute. Giving up a goal on the first shot 30 seconds into the game.

Da Moose quickly scored a second goal to run up a two goal lead. Things settled down after that and "Stopper" Hedin turned away DA Moose's scoring chances. And DA Moose did the same to the infrequent Ice Bats opportunities. Throughout the rest of the half and the first 15 minutes of the second half.

But the Da Moose angered by a penalty being called on them. Turned a four on two break into a three to nothing lead. When a DA Moose player sprawled in the crease redirected a shot past Hedin.

Chris Pahl shortly thereafter scored the only Ice Bats goal on rebound directly in front of the DA Moose net.

But the Ice Bats enthusiasm was quickly cooled when the DA Moose went back up with their fourth goal of the evening. When a Moose took a shot from the side of the net which was redirected off the feet of another Moose in front of the net into the net.
