Adrian's Ice Bats lost last night to The Little Wagon 5-0 on a cold and windy January evening. David "Frostbite" Hanson mentioned how sharp the Bats looked in their new jerseys, "The Ice Bats would have lost by a lot more last season. Our positioning on the ice is much improved. We may have lost, but we looked good".

Paul E. Dangerously also commented on the new Bat jersey's, which are a sharp red jersey, "normally, I'd say that we looked pretty good, but when we lose like this, we looked like a bunch of Porterhouse steaks getting tenderized".

Duane "Pipe" Koshiol had a miss off the iron in the Bats best rush on net of the evening. "After the wind picked up and blew all that snow in my face, I wasn't sure which goal I was shooting at, so I'm glad I hit the pipe in case it was our goal", said Koshiol.

Jerry "Steak" Shurhamer, Mike "Oi vay" Fay, Jared "Agitator" Agerter, and Mark "Storm Warning" Novak all played well, in-spite of bouts with the referee not calling all of the plays correctly. Ross "Spud" Hedin said, "the ref should go on a diet so that he can run up the ice to keep up with play". Several bad calls, including a goal scored off the hand of one of the Wagon players, made a long evening even longer.

"Jumpin" Jim Lemire has all of the revenue projections and promotional activies worked out with Adrian's, so Lemire's play stepped up a level. He should be more of a factor the rest of the season along with Bud "Icepick" Baakkonen.

After the game, while sipping a cold brew, team members watched the Bulls vs. Timberwolves and suspected they saw Troy "Treadmill" Woods rushing toward the court to try to get Dennis Rodman to punch him while the TV camera's were on.
