The Ice Bats had a new de-facto head coach, for one night at least, as David Antila filled in for a AWOL "Shakes" Hanson.

According to "Shakes" Hanson his absence was his own choice. But Paul "Danger Man" Wolfram insists on telling a different story.

Coach Antila - who describes himself, "as just a regular guy" - has stated his determination to turn around what he sees as lazy play from the Ice Bats during previous seasons.

"Regular Guy" Antila led a core of Ice Bats of character players who attended the scrimmage through a very physical and spirited scrimmage. Which perhaps caused the dazed "Danger Man" Wolfram, who is usually considered Untouchable on the ice, to imagine pre-game drills and post-game conversations and events.
